Short Biography
I am the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences and an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems.
I also served as the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences for Educational Issues as well as the chairman of the Department of Information Systems.
I received my M.Sc. from Lancaster University in 1999 and my Ph.D. in 2002 from Bradford University, in the UK.
I have also occupied the following positions:
- Member of several committees and councils such as the Scientific Council of Faculty of Medicine, the University Center of Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, and the Center for the Study students.
- Member of several scientific societies and associations, including Saudi Computer Society Information Systems of America.
- Member of a number of scientific and technical committees of several global conferences such as IBIMA, IEEE SITIS, ICDIM.
I have number of scientific papers in journals, seminars and conferences inside and outside the Kingdom. Also, I have a consulting experience in a number of governmental and private sectors.
My research interests include E-Commerce, E-Government, strategic planning, and management of information technology.
